This page is dedicated to the medium and long term projects underway (or nearing completion) in the SNBR workshop.
Prince The longest running project in the workshop is the construction of a super Sir Goss. The engine will be a more powerfull
engine than Sir Goss, with a bigger and higher pressured boiler, plus larger cylinders.
The Two car DMU The motor bigie is almost completed.
Romulus rebuild Romulus minor/major defect to resolve.
Coach 30 Coach 30 is an enclosed coach, rescued from Holycombe. So far two new bogie has been constructed.
New Bogies Another set of new Bogies is being constructed at present in the work shop. These vacuum braked bogies are a slightly modified version of the successfully built bogies put into service under the blue set of coaches.
New Enclosed Coach The next enclosed coach has been started, this one will have a luggage\tool area
County Of Kent Although not yet in the workshop, the large amount of work on this engine will be done no doubt in the workshop. Work includes new sub frame for the new pump, new axels and probably other minor(ish) jobs.
