Lady Sara:

Lady Sara was build by John Durie and is an 0-4-0 scale narrow gauge engine. Originally she looked far different to her present "mexican" railway appearence
being based more on the typical British narrow gauge engine. She arrived in 1995 and clocked up many miles of service before her owner withdrew her from service
and had completely rebuilt into her present appearence. Lady Sara has the distinction of being the only steam engine to ever run the service and also being the only
available engine for a day way back in 1995, when due to "un-foresean" circumstanes all the other SNBR based engines broke down. thankfully as her capacity is 3 carriages
the day in question was rainy, but she still ran all day perfectly well. Lady Sara has not yet run in her rebuilt form on the SNBR metals, but with her owner having his other
engine rebuilt she is expected to see some service in 2007, and is expected to operate at the 21st Birthday event in 2007.
