Railway Events for out 30th Year of Operation - More events may be added as well as confirmed dates and other items for the 30th Birthday gala

1st Jan 2016 Charity Day Our working steam engines and hopefully a visitor or two will run the trains from 11am to 3pm. No fares just donations to our chosen charity Visiting STEAM engines VERY welcome (normal insurance and Boiler certificate requirements)

23rd April 2016 Minimal Gauge Day - Facebook Group A facebook group event - a variety of engines from the home fleet in use Visiting engines VERY welcome (normal insurance and Boiler certificate requirements)

23rd & 24th July 2016 30th Birthday GALA The main event of our 30th Year, with "drive a train", visiting engines and other attractions expected Visiting engines VERY welcome (normal insurance and Boiler certificate requirements)

TBC Heritage Railway good cause night the event will coincide with Luna Cinema showing a film in the park (tickets available through the Swanley Town Council Website once date confirmed). To help move people from the cars to the screen, the SNBR will be running from 6pm to 8:45pm (we will not be taking people back to the car park after the show). Visiting engines welcome (normal insurance and Boiler certificate requirements)

TBC 1812 Night Fireworks in the park and trains run until the first firework Visiting engines welcome by appointment only (normal insurance and Boiler certificate requirements) but must have lights and vacuum brake controls

17th September 2016 Diesel Gala A diesel gala with a slight twist. All trains will run the wrong way round the mainline, meaning trains will have to climb the steep (and long) hill to the summit Visiting Diesel / Petrol / Electric engines welcome normal insurance certificate requirements) but must have working vacuum

Visiting engines are welcome on the SNBR, All visiting engines (and drivers) must have public liability insurance. Steam engines must have a valid boiler certificate (including a steam test certificate). Certificates will need to be shown on the day.
